Your eyes; they’re one of the first things people notice, so it’s important that they look their best at all times. For some women that means clumping on excessive amounts of mascara. However, being the first FDA-approved treatment to enhance the eyelashes, Latisse® is an effective, non-invasive way to help you grow your own beautiful eyelashes without pills, injections, or surgery.

“Absolutely the best! Everyone is so kind and helpful. All questions and concerns addressed with no pressure to purchase any of their services or products. I can’t say enough good thing about Dr Prysi and his staff.”

“Dr. Prysi performed extensive work on me ten years ago. The results were remarkable and long-lasting to the extent that I did not even consider going to anyone else all these years later.”

“Felt very comfortable with Dr. Prysi & staff. They were very thorough and left me feeling confident with my decision.”

How Latisse® Lash Serum Works

Naples women know that having long, full eyelashes increases femininity and helps eyes look larger, more vibrant and refreshed. The active ingredient in Latisse® extends the eyelash growth cycle and increases the number of individual eyelashes that grow. The result? Longer, lusher, darker eyelashes that won’t run or smudge even when you swim, exercise, sleep or get teary-eyed.

Improvements from this product appear gradually, as eyelashes grow in and are replaced. In as little as 4 weeks, you should begin to notice your lashes becoming thicker and fuller. These improvements will continue as lashes grow longer, with ultimate results reached in 16 weeks. To sustain your enhanced eyelash growth, continue daily treatments; otherwise, your lashes gradually return to their previous appearance.

Benefits of Latisse®

If you are not happy with your eyelash length or feel as though you have inadequate lashes in general, Latisse® bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03 is an amazing FDA approved treatment to grow eyelashes. Because Latisse® does not rely on temporary dyes to enhance the appearance of your upper lashes, the benefit of darker lashes is permanent even after removing makeup from your eyes and face. Some benefits you can enjoy with continual use of Latisse® include:

  • Darker Lashes
  • Increased lash length
  • Fuller lashes
  • Faster eyelash growth

Is Latisse® right for me?

During your consultation in Dr. Prysi’s Naples office, you will review your medical history and perform a brief exam. If Latisse® is right for you, he will instruct you of its proper use to ensure that you know how to apply it correctly at home. Because consistent use is essential to the product’s effectiveness, it’s helpful to apply it to the upper lashes as part of your regular nighttime routine.

Latisse® treatments are quick and easy daily applications that you perform in the convenience and privacy of your own home. The product is applied with a special applicator that you trace along the skin at the base of the upper lash line– the same way you apply liquid eyeliner. Latisse® is not for use on the lashes on the lower lid. It is important to remove your contact lenses before applying Latisse®. After applying, blot away any excess solution to ensure that it remains only in the treated areas. Then get ready for compliments on your lovely, lush lashes!

Although rare, some patients may experience potential side effects or reactions including itchy and red eyes, eyelid skin darkening, or eye pressure problems. If you are experiencing any of these side effects or any other discomforts, it is important to reach out to your healthcare provider right away.
