Arm Lift in Naples, FL

Hanging arm skin is not only unsightly, but also interferes with your ability to wear sleeveless tops with confidence, as well as causing underarm skin rashes and irritation.

Many women and men gain sagging skin folds because of weight loss.  Although there are many health benefits to losing weight, one drawback is the sagging skin that hangs from the arms after their weight loss.

“From my first consult I felt completely at ease with Dr. Prysi and his staff! They are all extremely considerate, knowledgeable, and truly caring about your concerns and well being. I had heard for years that Dr. Prysi was the best and I have to say he did not disappoint! ”

“Felt very comfortable with Dr. Prysi & staff. They were very thorough and left me feeling confident with my decision.”

“I appreciate Dr. Prysi for his ability & helpful advice to me. His entire staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy coming to his office because I know he can & will help me.”

What Can Be Done

An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, removes excess skin from your upper arms. An arm lift in Naples can help restore your ability to wear sleeveless clothing without feeling self-conscious.

Traditional Brachioplasty
is performed on people who have lost large amounts of weight and have excess arm skin. The scar from this surgery will run from your armpit to your elbow.

Extended Brachioplasty
is for those who have lost more significant amounts of weight and have excess skin running from the arm down to the outer upper chest. This procedure will leave a permanent scar from your elbow up to your outer upper chest.

Minimal Incision Brachioplasty
is appropriate for men and women who have a small amount of excess skin and are usually quite fit. This surgery will result in a permanent, but a small scar in your armpit.

After Your Arm Lift in Naples Florida

Regardless of the type of brachioplasty procedure, after your surgery your arms will either be wrapped or placed in an elastic sleeve in order to reduce swelling. Most Arm Lift patients can return to their non-strenuous routine after two weeks. Strenuous work or exercise should not be resumed for four to six weeks. It is important that your incisions are not subject to excessive force, abrasion, or motion during your healing time.

Any swelling or bruising will gradually disappear over three to four weeks and should be completely gone in approximately three months. Your scars will begin to fade after six months depending on your skin type of skin and the procedure.
