Endoscopic Composite Facelift – Naples & Fort Myers, Florida
An Artistic Approach to Facial Rejuvenation:
“The medical art is a sacred trust.”- Hippocrates
Dr. Mark Prysi is a leading Naples facelift surgeon who is nationally known for his achievements and advances in Facial Rejuvenation surgery. Dr. Prysi’s goal is to produce superior results for his patients using his innovations and personal surgical artistry.
Hailed as a visionary, Dr. Mark Prysi, a Naples Facelift specialist, has developed the Endoscopic Composite Facelift which combines an endoscopic mid-facelift and vertical neck lift for the first time, allowing for natural vertical facial rejuvenation. It restores facial contours back to their original position of youth, preserving a person’s individuality. “My goal is always the same…to create a beautiful look that appears completely natural with no tell-tale signs.”
The Endoscopic Mid-Facelift is one of the greatest technical evolutions in facial surgery. The most satisfying aspect of these techniques is dramatic facial rejuvenation, and preservation of the patient’s original youthful identity, obtained by complete repositioning of the soft tissues back to the original youthful position. The Endoscopic Composite Facelift has allowed the results obtained in the middle facial region to be naturally harmonized with that of the lower third of the face and neck.
A Preeminent Facelift Surgeon
Initially, facelift surgery treated only the skin. Advances in the procedure allowed for treating the deeper layer (SMAS) as well. Finally, there is a total approach – the Endoscopic Composite Facelift, which also treats the sub-muscular (deep) layer. The procedure allows the surgeon to treat areas that have traditionally been difficult: the central 1/3 or oval of the face, including the frown lines between the eyes, the brows, the folds adjacent to the nose and the lines around the mouth.
Skin is only a covering for the deep elements of the face, including the fat and muscle that project the aging changes. The endoscopic composite facelift elevates all levels including skin, fat and muscle. Most of the aging process pulls tissues in a downward direction A direct uplift is needed, which is not possible in traditional lifts. Dr. Prysi performs facelift surgery for patients all over Southwest Florida, with many of them traveling from outside the Naples and Fort Myers area.
The ART of enhancing your beauty.
Facial imbalance occurs frequently after standard facelifts. The skin is tighter, but the central face is untouched giving an “operated stretched look”. This is overcome with the Endoscopic Composite Facelift because it gives equal elevation of the cheeks, muscle, fat and skin restoring them to your natural position. The problem is that the public knows nothing about the ability of the Endoscopic Composite Facelift to correct unnatural-looking results because 99 percent of cosmetic surgeons are still using conventional techniques such as multiplanar or SMAS facelifts.
Standard facial rejuvenation techniques require that the skin hold up the other tissue and then it quickly relapses within six to ten months. The Endoscopic Composite Facelift gives longer lasting cosmetic results than traditional procedures. In the hands of an expert, the Endoscopic Composite Facelift can, on average, double the years of rejuvenation achieved through traditional lifts.

However, the ability to create a great-looking and natural facial rejuvenation goes beyond experience and surgical skill into the intangibles of artistry and artistic vision. The biggest difference in plastic surgeons is not their technical skill but artistic judgement- Dr. Prysi is blessed with a unique innate artistic ability. Dr. Prysi’s revolutionary facelift technique provides the most natural appearing results. Who is an Endoscopic Composite Facelift Candidate?
Endoscopic Face Lift candidates are those who are experiencing sagging in their cheeks, lines around their nose, and a downturned appearance to their lips. Patients in their 30s, 40s, or 50s who still have supple skin often see the best results. It is important for a patient to have realistic expectations when it comes to the outcome of their surgical procedure. A consultation with Dr. Prysi can help to determine if this procedure can benefit you.
The Endoscopic Composite Facelift Procedure
During this procedure, three or more small cuts less than an inch long are made in discreet areas, such as above the hairline or behind the ear. Dr. Prysi will then insert a thin device equipped with a small camera through an incision. This allows him to monitor the procedure on a screen as he works. Small surgical instruments will then be used to remove excess fatty tissue and reshape the facial muscles, addressing sagging or drooping of the face.

1) What is the difference between an endoscopic composite facelift and other facelifts?
In typical facelifts in the United States, everyone does a different technique, but basically, they are variations of the same thing. Multiple layers of the face are moved horizontally towards the ears to tighten the loose skin and underlying tissues. The problem is, this flattens the face and gives it an unnatural appearance. Either the patient is left this way in a windswept pattern or attempts are made to rectify by adding fat grafts to cheek area, which gives an unnatural apple cheek appearance with a tight lower face. In contact, endoscopic facial rejuvenation rejuvenates vertically up towards the eye, placing the tissues back to the original position of youth. This could only be accomplished by the addition of the endoscopic mid facelift. Everyone has all the fat needed in the face it is just not in the right place. The aging effect has caused the skin, muscle, and fat of the cheek to distend towards the corners of the mouth. With an endoscopic composite facelift rejuvenation, instead of it being a movement towards the ears, it is a movement vertically back to its original position filling the cheeks out to their natural youthful contour. The artistry lies in the individualized result for each patient. No patient needs anything added to the face. The endoscopic composite facelift is also longer lasting because it does not rely on skin tension to hold the heavy tissues in position.
2.) Why don’t all surgeons do this?
It is easier to tighten the skin towards the ears and remove the excess and then try to correct the flattened appearance by fat grafting. The only way to get a natural result, however, is to have the artistic judgement to realize all facial tissues need to go vertically towards the eye, naturally restoring a person’s facial personality. Like an artist’s eye, the surgeon must inherently perceive this 3-dimensional facial restoration. This intrinsic artistic visualization is only possessed by a few. It is impossible to restore your natural facial contour in the mid facial area without a vertical endoscopic mid facelift.

“Dear Dr. Prysi,
Thank you so much for the great challenge of doing surgery on me. The surgery has helped me to regain my self-confidence. You had a big challenge, since my face had more wrinkles than a bridesmaid’s dress.
I decided that it was time to do something about it. I have been following you for years, with admiration for what you have achieved with my friends. You managed to restore youthfulness, fullness and naturalness to each of them and they all kept their own look.
I am so grateful for you and your wonderful staff, who walked me through the surgery with great ease. I knew what to expect, there were no surprises. You were always there for me.
You are a wonderful surgeon. I owe you so much gratitude for your expertise of seeing what I needed to have done, and doing the surgery so well.
Thank you, you are the top plastic surgeon in my book!” -S.W.
