  • A sagging or drooping eyebrow, especially if it’s contributing to sagging upper eyelids
  • Horizontal creases on your forehead
  • Frown lines between your eyebrows
  • Furrows across the top of your nose

Is a Brow Lift Right for Me?

Before Your Brow Lift Procedure

Before undergoing your endoscopic brow lift procedure, Dr. Prysi will conduct a detailed consultation and evaluation to ensure you are an ideal candidate. During this appointment, he will review your medical history, examine your facial anatomy, and discuss your expectations for facial rejuvenation. This is also the perfect opportunity to explore whether brow lift surgery alone or in combination with other cosmetic procedures will best meet your goals.

Before surgery, you will be advised to stop smoking or using nicotine products to promote optimal healing, avoid certain medications or supplements that could increase bleeding risk, and arrange for someone to drive you home following your outpatient procedure.

During Your Brow Lift Procedure

An endoscopic brow lift is an outpatient procedure that can take several hours or more, depending on your cosmetic concerns. Anesthesia is administered to prevent you from feeling anything during surgery. Dr. Prysi begins by making incisions in your scalp behind the hairline. Through the incisions, he inserts an endoscope, a thin tube with a video camera attached, to reposition or alter tissue and muscle which causes wrinkling and lines. Then, he will correct a low-positioned or sagging brow.

Finally, Dr. Prysi closes the incisions with sutures and places a surgical bandage. Incisions from an endoscopic brow lift are totally hidden within the hairline, so patients do not have to worry about visible scarring., so patients do not have to worry about visible scarring.

After Your Brow Lift Procedure

After a brow lift, you may notice some puffiness, tenderness, and bruising discoloration. These side effects will disappear within a few weeks. Ice packs can be used around the eyes to reduce any swelling. Patients may also feel a tight feeling across their forehead, though any discomfort can be controlled with medication.

One to two weeks immediately following your brow lift, you should rest as much as possible. It’s best to avoid bending, heavy lifting, and straining, which can cause excess bleeding and other complications. You will be able to conceal any discoloration with makeup after about a week. Dr. Prysi will meet with you several times at his Naples, FL office to check your healing progress and clear you to return to work, exercise, and your normal routine.

Patients can see final results as early as six weeks. Sunscreen should be worn daily, and a healthy lifestyle should be maintained to extend your surgical results.

What Can Be Combined with Endoscopic Brow Lift Surgery

Many patients choose to combine their endoscopic brow lift with other cosmetic surgery procedures for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Because the upper face often shows early signs of aging, pairing a forehead lift with complementary treatments can enhance harmony and balance across your features. Dr. Prysi customizes each treatment plan to your unique needs, ensuring every cosmetic surgery complements your natural beauty and enhances your facial appearance as a whole

EBL and Eyelid Surgery

Combining an endoscopic brow lift (EBL) with eyelid surgery is one of the most effective ways to rejuvenate the upper face. While the brow lift procedure elevates the sagging brow and smooths forehead wrinkles, the eyelid lift removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids. Together, these facial plastic surgery procedures open up the eye area, correct hooding caused by drooping eyebrows, and restore a more youthful appearance.

EBL and Rhinoplasty

An endoscopic brow lift can also be paired with rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, for a complete facial rejuvenation. This combination is ideal for patients seeking improvement in both the upper face and the central features of the face. The endoscopic technique refines the brow position and forehead tissues, while the rhinoplasty enhances the nose’s shape and symmetry. Together, these cosmetic procedures can dramatically improve facial harmony and balance without looking overdone.
